South Ayrshire Council provides a regular programme of Golfing Activity throughout the year for residents and visitors , ranging from beginners and juvenile tournaments and coaching to three major competitions, Ayr Golf Week (June £55), Troon Golf Week (September £55 ), and Girvan Golf Classic (September £25).

Free transport can be provided to local golf courses in Ayr. Transport can also be provided to other courses by arrangement with Graeme or Ann.
